Herbs
Basil, Italian Large Leaf

Basil is a staple in so many Mediterranean dishes. This strain is espically selected for both maximum leaf production and dramatic flavor.  It grows to a height of about 2 feet and continues to produce throughout the season.  A very productive and dependable pesto.
Cilantro, "Delfino"
Cilantro Delfino Coriandrum sativum 'Delfino' is an improved aromatic, edible herb. It has fine, fernlike foliage that is more decorative than other coarse-leaved cilantors. 'Delfino' is easy to grow and the leaves can be harvested in about 4 to 5 weeks.  When grown in full sun, mature plants can be 20 inches tall. 'Delfino' can be grown in containers on patios or decks with annuals or other herbs. The plants will flower and go to seed. Harvest when the seeds have turned from green to brown.  Cilantro seeds can be dried and ground into the spice coriander, which can be used in many ethnic recipes.
Rosmarinus officinalis 'Madeline Hill'
Rosmary is a fragrant, shrubby herb that is a "must have" for any herb garden or container. 'Madeline Hill' is a variety reported to be hardy to -15 degrees F.  It grows to 3 feet with Wedgewood blue flowers.
Thymus x citridorus 'Aureus', Golden Lemon Thyme
This 12 inch variety of Thyme has green leaves dappled with gold, making it a beautiful addition to any herb or rock garden. It is at its showiest in late winter and spring. The superb lemony fragrance and robust thyme flavor make it great for culinary uses with fish, chicken and marinated, grilled vegetables.
